Rosanne SheplerRosanne received a Master’s Degree in Health Education from the University of Maryland and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from North Texas University. She completed her licensure in Virginia. She has given lectures to other mental health counselors in the area on dream work and relationship issues. She is a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors.

Rosanne also is a Jungian Analyst. One must have a post-graduate degree in order to receive more specialized training at an approved Jungian Institute. Requirements may vary by institute, but training is rigorous with no less than four years of intensive personal analysis, supervised practice and course work. Licensure requirements also include a written and oral examination and a thesis. Rosanne received her diploma from the C. G. Jung Institute of New York and holds a license as a psychoanalyst in the state of New York. Virginia does not have a licensure for psychoanalysts at this time.

Rosanne is a member of the Teaching Faculty at the C. G. Jung Institute of New York and has taught on dreams and complex theory. She has also held workshops for the Jung Society of Washington and for the C. G. Jung Foundation on the topics of Unbearable Choices, Mother, and Power and Love in Relationships. She was the Treasurer for seven years for the New York Association of Analytical Psychology (NYAAP) where she is currently a member. She is the President of the Jungian Association of Washington Analysts (JAWA).
